Baltimore, Md. – Vitamin®, an award-winning boutique digital and public relations agency, announced today it has been appointed agency partner for Baltimore, Md. area-based Penn-Mar Human Services. The partnership will focus on raising awareness of how Penn-Mar is addressing the most prevalent issues impacting human services as it relates to individuals with Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD), including customized employment and inclusion.
Penn-Mar Human Services provides support services to individuals with disabilities or human service needs in ways that promote value, independence, and self-determination. As Penn-Mar grows and the need for these critical services increases, Vitamin was identified as key to expanding Penn-Mar’s reach to advance their mission. Vitamin will focus on public relations strategy and media relations expertise to grow exposure for Penn-Mar across the Baltimore region. Vitamin’s extensive portfolio includes working with numerous nonprofit organizations.
“We are thrilled to have Vitamin on board to join us in raising awareness of our mission to transform life into living,” said Katherine Rogers, chief advancement officer with Penn-Mar Human Services. “Vitamin brings the talent and energy we need to spread our message to the most critical audiences.”
“We are honored and proud to partner with Penn-Mar to help grow their platform and showcase the good work they do to empower and uplift individuals with intellectual disabilities,” said Amanda Karfakis, president and CEO of Vitamin. “We look forward to telling the stories of those individuals, families, and volunteers impacted by Penn-Mar’s services.”
In today’s economic climate, with high demand for and low inventory of skilled workers, Penn-Mar has the opportunity to not only make an impact on the regional economy, but also to transform the lives of the individuals they support. By advancing the conversation around employment opportunities for individuals with IDD, Penn-Mar is poised to achieve its mission while simultaneously helping local businesses succeed.
