The Challenge
Hammond Wilson is an award-winning architecture firm that designs and builds some of the best-known, high-end homes and commercial buildings on and around the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. With their homes typically priced at $5 million and above, it was critical that the messaging and aesthetic of the Hammond Wilson brand match the artful sophistication and magnitude of the firm’s work.
The Solution
Hammond Wilson selected Vitamin as its agency of record for a full rebranding initiative including a new logo, brand messaging, website, corporate collateral and look book.
Through a robust rebranding exercise, Vitamin identified the critical components that set Hammond Wilson apart in the residential and commercial real estate marketplaces and designed a brand that was distinctive, artful, functional and timeless. The new logo is clean and timeless, elevating the perception of the brand to appeal to luxury homebuyers and high-end developers. The brand messaging communicates Hammond Wilson’s strong appreciation for process, aesthetic and client-focused service. The website is, in many ways, understated so that the power of the firm’s breathtaking portfolio comes to the forefront. The responsive site makes use of a sparse user-interface and a full-screen environment for ease of use and a visually-impactful experience.
The clean, minimal aesthetic that Vitamin established is reflected throughout the corporate collateral and look book, exemplifying the firm’s classic utilitarian values and high-end design, and making use of the diverse color scheme prevalent throughout the firm’s architecture portfolio.
The Results
- The new brand look-and-feel accurately reflects Hammond Wilson’s artful work and design aesthetic.

- Clients regularly use the Artful Living section of the site for design ideas, influence and inspiration.
