Vitamin® is interviewing for a Business Development Specialist.

Position Overview

Vitamin is seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to help expand our footprint as a premier branding, web, and PR firm. This role is all about forging meaningful connections, telling great stories, and driving new opportunities for growth.

Working closely with our leadership team and collaborating across our design and account teams, you’ll help bring our new business strategy to life — from networking and relationship-building to positioning case studies in conversations with prospective clients. The ideal candidate is a natural connector, comfortable in the spotlight at events, and motivated to translate conversations into new relationships and revenue opportunities.

Compensation

  • $70,000 annual base salary + revenue share on closed leads + benefits

Job Role

  • Partner directly with Vitamin’s founder to execute documented new business strategy and tactical initiatives
  • Cultivate relationships with prospects and referral partners across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond
  • Identify and attend key networking events, trade shows, and professional gatherings to build Vitamin’s visibility
  • Position case studies and success stories in conversations to align Vitamin’s capabilities with client needs
  • Collaborate with design and accounts teams to ensure flawless execution of BD-related initiatives
  • Leverage LinkedIn and other platforms for targeted outreach and relationship nurturing
  • Use AI and digital tools to streamline outreach and automate where possible
  • Track opportunities, document progress, and share insights with leadership to continuously refine strategy

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition
  • Strong networking skills with a proven ability to build and nurture professional relationships
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills — able to connect prospects’ needs to Vitamin’s strengths
  • Confident communicator with exceptional listening skills and emotional intelligence
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to follow through on commitments reliably
  • Comfortable working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a branding, PR, web, or marketing agency environment is a plus
  • Tech-savvy, with working knowledge of LinkedIn, CRM tools, and AI-driven productivity platforms
