Vitamin Account Supervisor Selected to Speak at Regional Healthcare Marketing Conference

MASHSMD 2017 Spring Conference in Charlottesville, Va. Begins May 3
Baltimore, Md. – Vitamin®, the web and public relations agency, announced today that its account supervisor, Nikki Bracy, was selected to speak at the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development’s (MASHSMD) 2017 Spring Conference. Bracy’s presentation — “Blogger Relations: An Untapped Resource in Healthcare Marketing” — will highlight the value of utilizing blogger relations and will walk attendees through an award-winning blogger campaign Vitamin developed for Saint Agnes Healthcare. The conference will be held at the Omni Hotel in Charlottesville, Va., May 3-5. Registration for the conference is now open.
“In today’s digital landscape, it has become increasingly important for healthcare organizations to reach their patients in innovative ways and inspire them to take control of their health,” said Bracy. “When used strategically, bloggers can be incredibly powerful marketing tools — but they remain a largely untapped resource in the healthcare industry.”
Bracy’s presentation will focus on educating attendees about how healthcare organizations can benefit from working with bloggers; how to successfully identify, pitch and work with bloggers; and how to navigate potential challenges that may arise within the healthcare landscape. Bracy will spotlight “One Journey, Many Paths”, an integrated marketing campaign in which Vitamin utilized blogger relations, media relations, social media and the hospital’s website to raise awareness of the hospital’s Comprehensive Breast Center and encourage women to make their breast health a priority. Her presentation is scheduled for Friday, May 5 at 9 a.m.
